Co-developed by Visa and Arcot, the 3-D Secure protocol provides a simple yet effective way to protect against fraudulent online transactions. Arcot TransFort provides rapid compliance with the 3-D Secure protocol and verifies the identity of cardholders during a card not present purchase. Today all three major card brands use this protocol in their cardholder authentication programs: Verified by Visa™, MasterCard® SecureCode™ and JCB J/Secure™.
TransFort for Issuers allows you to offer enrollment and authentication services to your cardholders and merchants that are fully compliant with Visa, MasterCard, and JCB security standards.
TransFort for Merchants is a merchant plug-in (MPI) that allows merchants to authenticate the identity of any cardholder who has enrolled in a 3-D Secure compliant program. Merchants can also take advantage of the liability protection offered by the Issuers.
Arcot TransFort is a component of A-OK for e-Commerce. It can also be installed on-premise and is offered by leading processors and issuers worldwide.
